Hospitality Director - Ian Campbell
Ian's career spans 30 years in the hospitality industry, with his formative years spent at two of the UKs leading establishments, Claridge’s and Chewton Glen. Ian went on to hone his professional skills at the Royal Lancaster Hotel and thence Ring & Brymer and Letherby & Christopher.
Ian is passionate about quality, service and meeting the needs of clients, and with his team he has been instrumental in driving forward the levels of services and unrivalled facilities now available.
Functions Team
We are incredibly lucky to have an extremely talented functions team who together reveal an impressive resumé and a real enthusiasm for the job. With over 23 collective years’ function management experience, at some of the best known hotels and venues in the country, the team are lead by Functions Manager Kendra Tuckwell who has been with the IoD for over 4 years.
They organise an amazing 40 functions a week between them and yet Kendra’s, Priya’s, Jo’s, Lucy’s and Mia’s energy levels never falter – they are determined to make sure that each and every event they support is a great success from start to finish and will gladly go the extra mile to help make things perfect for every client.
Chef and the team
Head Chef Roger Evans has been a Chef for a staggering 35 years now and in his time he has not only hired many a talented chef but he has also trained many who have gone onto a selection of Michelin Star establishments.
Before his time at 116 Pall Mall he has worked at the Grosvenor House, the Westbury Hotel along side Ainsley Harriot and Briganza along side Gordon Ramsey. His passion lies with selecting the finest of British produce, from mouth watering Welsh Elwy Valley Lamb to delicious Cornish organic ice cream and this is constantly reflected in all our menus.
