Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) Concert and Reception

This July, we present an evening of exceptional classical music at 116 Pall Mall, in partnership with the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT).

Set within the elegant surroundings of the Carlton, this intimate concert offers the opportunity to experience outstanding emerging talent in a refined and atmospheric setting. As the evening unfolds, guests will have access to the private terrace and garden for a post-performance reception.

Your Experience

Your ticket includes:

  • A welcome glass of Searcys sparkling wine on arrival (non-alcoholic option also available)

  • Access to the concert

  • Complimentary summer food stalls served on the terrace after the performance, featuring carved Serrano ham, British cured meats and artisan cheeses, alongside chutneys, pickles, quince jelly, fresh grapes, celery, sourdough breads and crackers; plus a Mediterranean feast station with kleftiko lamb shoulder and lemon tahini, imam bayildi with tzatziki, kale and spinach falafel, jewelled couscous and flatbreads, among other seasonal dishes.

  • Pay-as-you-go bar available throughout the evening

  • A donation to YCAT, supporting its ongoing work in developing and championing the next generation of world-class classical musicians.

About the Artists

Samrat Majumder
A Scottish-Indian classical guitarist and Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) 40th Anniversary Artist, Samrat is a rising international talent and Classic FM Rising Star. Currently completing his Doctor of Musical Arts at the Peabody Institute, he performs internationally and is recognised for both technical excellence and artistic versatility.

Kasparas Mikužis
A Lithuanian pianist and Classic FM Rising Star 2025, Kasparas has appeared at leading venues including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall in London. Currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, he is building an international career defined by expressive interpretation and musical sensitivity.

As a UK charity, YCAT provides tailored career development, mentorship, performance opportunities and industry guidance to help artists build sustainable international careers.

Over the past 40 years, YCAT has supported many of today’s leading classical musicians, including Alison Balsom, Ian Bostridge, and ensembles such as the Belcea Quartet. Its alumni also include BBC Young Musician finalists such as Jess Gillam and Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
