Coffee With Purpose: The Roas-Tree Club’s Growing Impact

At 116 Pall Mall, we are proud to partner with organisations that demonstrate how business can be a force for good. One such initiative is the Roas-Tree Club, launched in 2023 by Notes Coffee.

The idea was beautifully simple: for every 20 kilograms of coffee purchased from the Roas-Tree Club range, a tree would be planted and cared for over the course of ten years.

Just a year later, that commitment has already grown into something remarkable. In collaboration with Daterra Coffee in Brazil, the Roas-Tree Club has planted more than 11,000 trees — each one part of a carefully managed reforestation project designed to restore soil health, reintroduce native species, and encourage the return of wildlife.

We are also delighted to share that Searcys, our catering partners at 116 Pall Mall, have contributed nearly 300 trees in just the first half of this year alone. This achievement is a direct reflection of the positive impact made possible through our partnership with Notes Coffee.

To celebrate these milestones and track ongoing progress, the Roas-Tree Club has launched a biannual impact report, published every September and April.

Together, we are demonstrating that coffee can do so much more than fuel conversation — it can help restore ecosystems and create a greener future.
