116 Pall Mall hosts Weddings & Honeymoons magazine cover shoot
In June, 116 Pall Mall became the stunning backdrop for a Weddings & Honeymoons editorial, blending London’s vibrant streets with the grandeur of history. This Grade I-listed Georgian building, home to the Institute of Directors, offered the perfect canvas for a shoot that celebrated heritage with a modern twist.
Luxury event designer Charlotte Ricard-Quesada of La Fête envisioned a story inspired by classical art and the soft elegance of pearls. “I wanted a visual narrative that felt timeless yet unexpected,” she explains. From pearl-dusted accessories to gowns reminiscent of Old Masters’ brushstrokes, every detail reflected refined femininity and quiet power.
Real-life couple Layla and Chris brought the vision to life, their chemistry perfectly captured across the Nash and Waterloo rooms, terrace, and garden. With Searcys handling hospitality, the day flowed effortlessly. KL Luxe ensured flawless hair and makeup, while Raw Bloom’s bespoke floral arrangements—garden roses, peonies, and dahlias in soft nude tones—added romance and organic elegance.
Luxury stationery by Paige & Co. mirrored the shoot’s artistic flair, combining Fine Art inspiration with gold foil and hand-drawn illustrations. Chateau Noir provided sumptuous linens, and Peboryon crafted a four-tiered, pearl-adorned cake, tying together the shoot’s theme of understated opulence. Debbie Carlisle’s pearl accessories and Josephine Scott London’s bridal gown completed the refined yet modern aesthetic, while Chris wore a custom Hockerty suit.
Charlotte Griffiths Photography and videographer Vic Rivero captured each authentic moment, blending natural emotion with the city’s urban charm. The result was a shoot that feels both contemporary and timeless—a celebration of love, artistry, and the magic of London itself.
